What happened?

As per a recent update, players should now be able to access the contents of a vehicle after it has been waterlogged or submerged. As of yesterday, this was still not the case. We were unable to interact with the vehicle, even after ensuring that it was unlocked via lockpick attempts.

Expected result

Access Vehicle Contents

Reproduction steps

  1. Locate waterlogged or submerged vehicle.
  2. Ensure said vehicle is unlocked.
  3. Attempt to open trunk with 'G' to no avail.

Just tested this, this works as intended.

In this situation the vehicle was submerged and not able to be searched. Maybe the vehicle was locked? The cops involved said they tried to lockpick the vehicle, minigame started but upon finishing it, the notification in bottom left didn't even pop up.

Even if that's the case, I don't see a way cops would be able to lockpick a vehicle that was sent into actual deep water, making it impossible to retrieve any evidence. Maybe a suggestions is if a vehicle is water dumped, it could be set as unlocked?

Ok, in that case, fixed.
