Malloc errors and segfault trying to extract from .exe cab archives

When using The Unarchiver 1.6, and trying to extract one of the following 
archives:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=34153&package_id=56408

The Unarchiver logs a bunch of malloc errors and crashes.

However, the 'cabextract' application can extract files from those .exes just 
fine. (cabextract can be 
downloaded using MacPorts)

At the very least, the crash bug in The Unarchiver should be fixed, but 
preferably The Unarchiver 
should incorporate cabextract to properly handle those types of files.
