2.0 already supports encrypted RAR files.

2.0 does NOT support encrypted RAR files. You open such a file, it asks for the 
password, it fails to open the file 
(reports error). UnRARX, or just using the unrar command-line tool, works fine 
on the same file with the same 
password, so the problem is with The Unarchiver. I suggest you reopen this 
issue.

If you have a file that does not work, please post it. It supports all files 
that have been 
tested so far.

But first, check that you do not still have 1.6.1 installed and that gets 
started instead. 
Right-click and check the "Open With..." menu to see if there are multiple 
versions.
