What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In Final Fantasy IV Advance (E), the pseudo-3D shown in the intro, among
other places, is choppy. Turning off filtering does not fix it.
2. I haven't tested it in the (U) or (J) versions of the game.
3. The rest of the game runs at full speed. It only seems to have trouble
with the pseudo-3D sequences.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to be smooth.
Does this issue occur on VBA-M r781
(http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/vbacompiles/msvc2008/VisualBoyAdvance781.7z)?
If so, please report the issue to the VBA-M forum.
No, it's just fine in VBA-M on my PC.
What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?
2.03-Wii
Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?
Yes, I autoupdated before playing the game.
Please provide any additional information below.
It could just be that the Wii isn't powerful enough to emulate the game
effectively. It doesn't effect gameplay negatively, because the game still
runs at full speed (dropping frames), and the only parts of the game that
use these graphics don't require fast user reflexes or anything like that,
but it's kind of a nuisance.
