1 year ago I have just noticed that Transfermarkt handle some league seasons incorrectly. This particular example is one of those - the current (2023) Brasileiro Séria A season in the html on transfermarkt is actually listed as 2022, and all seasons appear to be listed as current season - 1... I will investigate whether applying some logic will work for these affected leagues, without affecting other leaues
