First Jones Pupil M1-M3
At the focal plane before the acquisition camera! We have a model officially - now it's time to start refining coatings
Choosing the basis vectors for this system was nontrivial, but my solution was easy. If you take the cross product of the gut ray (H,P = 0) and a ray at the edge of the y-pupil (H = 0, Px = 0, Py = 1), then their cross product should point in the x-direction of the exit pupil.
A really wild feature is that we get a charge-1 vortex on the off-diagonals. But apparently this happens everywhere a null exists, so that's just neat rather than physically interesting.
We got the files, let's start with a dummy coating to generate the first jones pupil
I'm not 100% sure which is the ORKID path, might be best to chop the file into the one that is just ORKID
