Unit Testing #30

Changes in the development and homework branches don't have unit tests. Need to write unit tests before merging into master.

Sadly I am not able to write tests. But is there anything that we users can do to help you release a new version? There were so many enhancements...

Documentation, writing issues, or testing those branches would all be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time available to focus on this project for the next few months, and writing tests takes a long time so I just haven't been able to make progress on it.

The homework branch is the bleeding-edge branch (so named because I use it to do homework), and if you would like to experiment with some of the less well-developed features and give feedback on them it would help a lot.
