Cannot ARM/Disarm #11

Whenever I try to arm or disarm the system with the concord232-client a strange thing keeps happening. I can run the server in debug mode, and I can see it try to arm, but then a message returns that implies it is waiting for the code. the code was sent using the --master XXXX command line option. On the display of the keypad, it is asking for the arm code.

Is there something I am missing? It is like it is not sending the arm code.

I'm having the same issue. When sending the arm command the debug shows the panel is displaying "Enter Code" and then the panel times out. Sending the arm command with --master XXXX doesn't seem to make a difference.

I'm having this same issue. I can arm at the keypad and then disarm via concord232-client. I cannot arm via concord232-client. That includes arm-stay, arm-away and all of the various options (silent, instant, etc.) Each time I issue one of these commands, my control panel says "Enter Code". I've tried installer code, master code, and user code in the command. All follow the same path. Any ideas? I see that this has been an issue for over a year. Just trying to see if anyone has found a workaround.

I am having the same issue as well and haven't found a solution.

I resolved this by enabling Quick Arm (on partition1) using the System Programming menu from my touchpad.

Can you share how to do this

tlyoung99 commented 5 years ago

This solved my problem as well. To enable Quick Arm: -8 + [Installer Code] -00 for system programming -0011 is the shortcut to get to quick arm -# to enter edit mode -1 to switch value from off to on -* until you see "System Programming" -Up once to get to Exit -#

How do I find my installer code

JasonCarter80 commented 5 years ago

I used this method: https://packetu.com/2017/12/30/reading-eeprom-obtaining-the-ge-concord-express-installer-code/

tlyoung99 commented 5 years ago

I used the same method, but only after trying every default and potential installer code I found online.

silfa718, Try 6321. Seen that number several places.

silfa718 commented 5 years ago

Thanks, but that and every code I can think of doesn't work.

AZDane commented 5 years ago

Did you search the web. Who installed your system? What company?

silfa718 commented 5 years ago

Guessed it, got quick arm enabled, and now I can arm and disarm from HA UI. Thanks for the help.
