Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely take a look and see what is going on. I imagine they are just regressions.
So I was able to verify the missing mini-map and the issue with menu item checkmarks. I will create separate issues and link to them here.
The other two (Room dialog and the regions list) are working fine in my tests. I suspect that it might have something to do with perhaps any scaling you may have set or something else perhaps in your display settings. I've not been able to reproduce by changing many of the settings. There were some changes in this last version that added better support for HiDPi displays, so I'm expecting something there may have some interaction with something in your settings.
Perhaps if you can send me some of your settings, especially if they are not the defaults, perhaps something will jump out at me.
Thanks for verifying those two issues. Would attaching Trizbort's appsettings.json
or Trizbort.exe.config
be useful?
My Windows UI scaling factor is set to 100% and I'm on a laptop, using a 1366x768 display, so no HiDPI used here (that I know of, sounds like it's strictly those 4K displays).
I also have the issue where resion box only shows one line high.
Scaling is also 100% and changing the scale doesn't affect it.
I have the same issue after updating from 1.7.2 to 1.7.4.1. App Settings and scaling are at default (Win10, 1920x1080 monitor).
In addition to what was mentioned above, the "Description" and "History" fields of Map Settings now only display two lines at a time and have a vertical scrollbar, where previously it was 4-5 lines with no vertical scrollbar.
Firstly, this is a great program! Thanks for all your hard work. ❤
Issues noted:
Room editing dialog box:
OK
button is missing from the bottom.Shift + Enter
is the equivalent, however:missing mini-map window, despite it being enabled
Tools > Map Settings > Regions
tab: the scrolling box which lists regions in the map is only one line high:on menu items with check marks indicating a feature is enabled, the check mark is displayed too high up--wrong font size?
Is this something particular to my Windows 10 (Home) environment, or are these a bunch of code regressions? I have rebooted since unpacking the .zip file (into a separate directory with a "-1.7.3" suffix to keep versions semantically separated), but no change in behavior.
