Issue with Krita crashing when changing plugin settings #48

I am using Krita 4.2.8 on Windows 11 and installed a plugin. When I tried to change the backend URL from the plugin settings by pressing "sd plugin config", Krita crashed. After that, I was unable to launch Krita.

Steps to reproduce:

Launch Krita. Install the plugin. Open the plugin settings. Select "sd plugin config" and try to change the backend URL. This action causes Krita to crash, and it fails to launch after a restart. Expected behavior: I expect Krita to not crash when changing the plugin settings and to function normally.

Environment:

Krita version: 4.2.8 Operating system: Windows 11 Additional information:

Plugin download source: [https://github.com/JasonS09/comfy_sd_krita_plugin] I have thoroughly read and followed all the settings mentioned in redmanu. Any other relevant information or comments can be added here. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

I have the same problem. Running Comfy on a Server within local network. After changing the URL, Krita no longer starts as long as the links are in pykrita. I have deleted the repo and reloaded it. No change

Krita version: 5.2.2 Operating system: Windows 10

Any advice would be highly appreciated

Thanks

This worked for me:

  1. delete krita_diff_plugin.ini in Roaming\krita
  2. krita started again with the plugin activ
  3. changed to server IP
