does not start google play services update required #1197

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open then app
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect load normally, instead i see an alert: the app does not work if you do 
not update google play services. (via Bazaar)
if i press update the play store opens but say  not found

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
version 2.0.3 on android 2.3.7 on HTC Desire A8181

If possible please provide a log by uploading here.

Can you tell me if you have a userdebug build?
Settings->About phone->Build number, does it contain the string userdebug?

I am slightly confused. You mentioned (via Bazaar) instead of via Play Store. 
Are you at Google?

If you have an Android 2.3.7 release build, it should be able to download 
Google Play services from the Play Store. 

In Settings->Apps, do you have an entry for Google Play services? What version 
of Google Play services do you have?

I mention via Bazaar but not instead of Play Store, i just report the error 
popped from MyTracks, he said "the app does not work if you do not update 
google play services. (via Bazaar)"
My version of Google Play Services is 2.0.10 (537065-10)

Now works, I do nothing, just open the app and works, really strange.
I will report you if it hangs again
