Intents for doring certain tasks from other apps aka tasker #132

I want to be able to start, stop recordings from a third party app(tasker) From 
what i have read if there is an intent that we can send to my tracks this 
should be possible.

Also passing an argument to upload track after stop and naming it.

Like this example

IF this %DayOfWeek and this %TimePeriod and This %LOCATION 
    RECORD Track
IF %LocationIWantToStopRecordingAt
    STOPrECORDING
    SAVEtRACK("My Track From "%DATE)
    UPLOADTRACK

There are no intents for these right now - can you make a call to the service?

Not that for the TDF we made the service look for the an extra which if present 
would cause it to start recording.  We should merge that code over.  It should 
not be too hard to add one for stop recording as well.

Is tasker (or Locale) able to add extras?
If so we can create an entry-point activity just for this purpose (other than 
the main activity).

I recently found out the joys of Locale and Tasker :) I'll be doing this one.

The initial idea is basically to have the plugin be able to:
- Start/stop/pause/resume recording
- Add a waypoint/statistics marker

Later I may also add a way for it to change preferences.

This is not yet the intents, but entry points that allow a plugin (independent 
from my tracks) to be written. I will also be happy to write the plugin 
afterwards.

This would make My Tracks approximately one hojillion times more useful to me 
and turn it ininto the ultimate mileage program. I could set it to record as 
soon whenever it was in my car dock and stop when I took it out.

Unfortunately the My Tracks Tasked plugin has been unpublished because My 
Tracks withdrew third party automation support.
