Possible to run Lamar with .Net Framework 4.7.2 but not .Net Core? #229

I've been reading up on Lamar since I was looking at upgrading from StructureMap 2.6.1 which is running on .Net Framework 4.7.2 but not .Net Core and there are no plans to upgrade to .Net Core. Is this possible ? All I've read is Lamar being linked with .Net Core running on .Net Framework version 4.6.1 or higher
