I tried to change the code on the basis of keeping it as is, but it may have some unknown errors. In short, it can run on 1.4.4 Preview...

Oh, sorry, I guess I never commented. There were some code changes I wasn't positive about in this PR and I wanted to make sure the migration instructions we had would work for a mod like this, so I did the porting myself again just as a sanity check.

I think I did cross reference to this PR when redoing it for some of the renames and method changes, so this PR really helped out a lot. Sorry I didn't communicate more.
