I Have 2 monitors. When I move firefox window to the secondary monitor and maximize it, tabs disappear. http://i.imgur.com/dEW8AGO.jpg I also have tab mix add-on. If I turn it off result looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/Pf4HohA.jpg

I can't reproduce this issue. Please tell me your OS version (Win7, 10?), Firefox and addon version. Tks!

Hello, I'm also having this exact issue. I am on Win10, Firefox 51.0.1, addon version 3.2.2.

I found that a workaround to this was to enable the menu bar on my second display. However, even then, the menu bar was not visible. 2017-02-08_16-54-44 2017-02-08_16-54-29

I found out why this happens. It happened to me too after version 3.1.4rc, so I just reverted back to that one and stayed there for at least a year. FF 55 broke my profile and I was left unable to reinstall that version. If you uncheck "Enable custom Firefox button at top-left corner" it makes tabs disappear on a secondary monitor.

On a side note, can you add an option to have that button open the old style menu, like Classic Theme Restorer?

Hi DustyOldBones, Please tell me your OS version (Win7, 10?) & Firefox version. Are you also on win10? (I don't have win10 in my main pc -yet-, but I can get another box win it)

The old style menu isn't in Firefox any more, I'd be needed to re-create it from scratch.

Tks!

I'm on Windows 10 64bit (Creator's Update), using Firefox 55.0.2 64bit.

Do you have Tab mix plus addon? Could you test without any other addon please?

If you can test with fx 32 bits It'd be great bc I don't have fx 64. I'll try to get it installed. Tks

When I was testing that day it was on a fresh profile with no other addons installed.

With 2 monitors and moving Fx back & forth + un/maximizing it, sometimes I've got to reproduce a weird behavior , sometimes like this issue (tabs disappearing) & also Fx slowness when turning on/off HCTP's Fx button. But many times I just couldn't reproduce any weird thing ... any further info about the exact environment you have will be very appreciated. Tested with Win 7 64 + Fx 55 32bit.

In win 10 32bit + same Fx 55, I couldn't get any weird behavior, all working normal.

Anyway, I'm working on a possible workaround to include in an imminent release!. I'll let you know

Finally I've discovered the cause of this issue! And It's FIXED already in version 3.2.8rc (in Development Channel). (And will be also in ver 3.2.8 very soon)

PS: Please test it also using this internal flag: (All should work the same) In   about:config please add this word " fxBut_oldDisable " to preference:   extensions.hide_caption.plus.z_sys.intFlags

This shows "fxBut_oldDisable" in red font in Dialog > Advanced Settings, to confirm It's setted. Please remove the word after testing. Thanks a lot!

PS: I was able to reproduce the issue moving Fx to a secondary monitor located at left side! (and disabling Fx button)
