Installer fails on FreeBSD - can provide a patch unless the project is inactive #225

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install FreeBSD 10
2. Attempt to do the install
3. Watch failures

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected failures due to the age difference, but it's really broken.  I would 
like to create a patch but wanted to ask more questions - there is no email 
method here.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Current download version.

Please provide any additional information below.
In a vm - I attempted to replace pkg_add with pkg (latest package manager in 
FreeBSD), and installed a few things before that based on the info in the 
script.
