What size solar panel and battery will it support #2

I'm fascinated by this simple MPPT controller and want to build it for my own education. But unless I've missed it, nowhere in the documentation does it say what size solar panel or battery it is capable of controlling. Can somebody clarify?

Generally "not too large"

If you want a proper MPPT it will be much more cheaper, effective, and longer lasting to buy a proper off the shelf one; This one is more as a demonstration; say a 5W 12V panel, and a small 12V battery;

As for how well it will work in these setups, we don't have to much information; but feel free to experiment and let us know of improvements if you see them
