Suggestions text become invisible #1085

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

- Not sure, this happened a few days dafter installing the keyboard.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- Suggestions (the text) become invisible. The bar itself and the vertical
lines are still visible, and you can click anything as per usual. See
attachment.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- I'm using CyanogenMod 10.1 (based on Android 4.2.2), on Samsung Galaxy Note.
ASK ver 20130222-skinny-eye-candy (release 95).

Additional information:

Once it happens, even reboot doesn't fix it. Changing themes etc. doesn't help.
I tried clearing the app data (via android settings - and it fixed it!
(although all my settings were lost...)

I have this same problem on a stock Galaxy S4, Jelly Bean, ASK 20130528 (v102).
No matter what, I can't get the suggested words to show between the separators.

Try the that thing:
https://code.google.com/p/softkeyboard/issues/detail?id=1101#c5
Disable "Handle RTL" (by clicking it! it was unclicked.) solve the problem on
my phone! Thanks to the person who find the trick!
