xperia pro ehanced layout (czech qwerty. diacritic and more symbols)

Hello,

I'm an owner of a Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (Mk16i), that includes qwertz 
hardware keyboard. I'm already using Anysoftkeyboard czech qwerty layout (to 
get y and z to the corect qwerty position, thank you very much for that :) ). 
But I was wondering whether there could be made several specific enhancements:

1. sometimes I'm typing in english and don't need diacritic symbols - could 
there be an option to turn off/on the doubleclick to diacritic feature?

2. there are several symbols missing from the alt layout (for example 
~|<>[]{}^`\ ) but with some free combinatons (what inspired me was layout 
described at http://connectbot.vx.sk/customkeymap.html ). Would it be possible 
to implement it directly in the keyboard layout to be used in all other 
applications?

I would be very glad if someone could make a version of keyboard layout with 
these changes, or if there is a way for me to adjust the current one and 
compile it for myself. Is it possible? And if so, how please?
