Dictionary crowdsourcing #304

I suggest to provide the possibility to upload user dictionaries using the
Google Base Data API (or something similar).

If a word is used from a significant userbase, it should get included in
the dictionary.

This functionality provides backup and the possibility to create very
complete dictionaries (optional download package) very fast.

This is a very good idea.
But it is quite hard to implement, no?

yes it is. and without me speaking java i just suggest it.

i don't think of it as a requirement anyway.

I actually thought of this idea a few months ago, while I was looking for a way
to
solve the licensing problem of the big dictionaries.

I'll keep this issue open, maybe someone will lent an hand.

maybe its possible to switch to open-office/mozilla style dictionaries[1]

they have very big wordlists that are maintained and available as free
download[2].
the words are flaged[1], so that inflection can be done properly.

The drawback is, that this dictionaries lack word-probability statistics.
