Hebrew dictionary not found #834

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.installed the Hebrew package
2.installed the update

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
instead of saying that the dictionary is installed, it says it doesn't, and
every few minutes it displays a reminder 2 install the dictionary - which is
already installed !
when i remove the update, it says that the dictionary is installed.
so something must be wrong with the update then !

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 2.3.3 (HTC Desire HD)

What do you mean "every few minutes it displays a reminder 2 install the
dictionary"?
AnySoftKeyboard does not notify about updates.
Are you talking about the Android's Market update notifications?

well, it's the phone itself that gives the notification, in a form of a 2 lines
message in the bottom of the screen, that shows 4 few seconds.
the message says:
"Hebrew dictionary is not installed. Please install it from the Market"

I'm not aware of such problem.
Completely uninstalling does not fix this issue?

Wow... Never heard of such issue. Did AnySoftKeyboard come pre-installed on
your device?

just 2 clarify things:
the anysoftkeyboard application can be uninstalled.
what can't is the hebrew package.
even if i try 2 uninstall it with special 'kill' program - it still gives me
the message 'failed operation'.
any idea ?
