in bottom row mic mode, smileys key is invisible

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.select bottom row classic style
2.the smileys key is hidden in most apps(not consistent) 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

 sgs2 gingerbread 2.3.5. Android 4 style

Same here, HTC Vision, Cyanogenmod 4.2.2. However, it seems consistent for me, 
as it happens in all my apps. The smiley key is visible, but the popup's 
smileys are not.
