DS4 won't detect my controller? #295

So I used DS4 a while back with my first DS4 and the original Playstation mini-usb that comes with the console. I broke that controller and bought a new one, still using the same mini-usb and DS4windows still worked. However, I broke that controller too and the wire along with it so I brought a new controller AND a new 3rd party mini-usb for use with DS4 & PS4. Now when I try and connect my DS4 with my PC, it doesn't work and simply won't detect the controller; the controller just lights up yellow once and nothing else when connected.

I have the same problem...

Same here. It was working fine before. I'm on Windows 10 Pro x64, Creators Update, using the official DS4 wireless connector.

It doesn't work for me, and I have the latest windows 10 version.

I have the same problem. There is isn't a single video that helps in this particular case. All of them say the same thing and apparently no one cares here too.
