That may because your BT adapter driver not fully installed. Windows may install the basic BT adapter driver, but they don't provide drivers for BT service.
Most of computer's BT adapter based BCM's chip, try this driver.
I had the same issue as yours and solved by install the full BCM BT driver.
I can't provide a official link from BCM website since they no longer release driver packs https://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth
Here are download links for win8-win10

@424778940z Thankyou, I just updated my drivers, Sorry for a month old reply btw. One controller works doesn't seem to glitch anymore, THE REAL PROBLEM is how the other controller is dead, I mean it doesn't turn on. And all It does is flash orange once, when I try putting the charger in a couple times, but that's it. Do you have any insight on that? Any help would be appreciated as a controller costs 100usd in my country and I really don't want to break my bank.
orange means it's charging, if just flash once may be the battery is full or just dead.
you have to pay attention to model numbers, here they have CUH-ZCT1U and CUH-ZCT2U the only number in model numbers means their hardware version. ONLY version 2 have USB feature If your dead one is version 2, try to plug in to PC see is there a new device.
If no matter what you do it still not work, get a screwdriver and open it, borrow a multimeter from someone see what voltage the battery have. a valid range should between 2.7v-4.2v. other than that means it's dead.
screwdriver and multimeter can also be found at hardware store. and you don't need an expensive multimeter to figure out the battery is dead or not, just get the cheapest one, may just $10 or less.
for replacement batteries, go ebay, i'm sure lot's of them are available
Hi, so I'm kind of new to this dualshock to pc scene and well heres what happened
I connected both my controllers for some wii emulation action anyways they worked fine, even had custom profiles and all. But then after a few times connecting and disconnecting (over a course of a few days max) they started bugging. I mean they would connect to my pc via bluetoot but ds4 wouldn't pick them up, and then when ds4 did pick them up theyd turn off.
Well a reinstall of ds4windows, and/or removing and reconnecting the controllers fixed it but one of my controllers glitched out I think. Well what I mean by that is its just completely shut down, it wont charge it wont connect to the pc, heck it wont even turn on. If id connect it to an external charger itd flash an orange light and that's it. If ill connect it to the pc via microusb itd just say it didn't recognize the hardware.
Now idk what to do one controllers dead in a sense, I mean the light bar wont flash, it wont charge. I know the controller isn't faulty for sure. And the microusb is fine aswell.
Any help would be amazing Thanks!
