Hi, I just bought a PS4 controller and it has not been easy for me dealing with drivers. It's kind of hit or miss from what I have seen as some controllers kind of work as plug-and-play with PCs and don't with others. I have done absolutely everything to get the DS4 working on my computer and it's still quite unstable. I have updated my motherboard's bios, every single USB port, installed every version of DS4Windows, InputMapper, Scp toolkit... The best option was InputMapper with HidGuardian but the app would still occasionally crash or make the controller act on its own for a second (which is very annoying when playing of course).
There's another thing that would happen when I plugged the controller through Bluetooth. Connecting the controller would basically make the computer go crazy and select things on its own. As for when I plug the controller via USB, my PC would just say that the driver is broken on the device and my PC wouldn't even recognize the device as a controller.
