I can confirm this issue still exists in the current version of TachiyomiJ2K (1.7.3). I know for a fact this used to work for me a few weeks ago, but it suddenly stopped. I used android 14's notification history to be sure that this wasn't a problem with my phone either. I installed the main version of Tachiyomi (0.14.7) to verify this is a J2K-specific problem, which it is.

Specifics to my device:

TachiyomiJ2K version

1.7.2

Android version

Android 14

Device

Google Pixel 8 Pro

In case you want a specific manga/source to test this with, try 14-sai to Illustrator on MangaDex. It doesn't have any English chapters, so it should work. I've also noticed that the usual No Chapters Found notification when refreshing the manga directly via it's page in the library does not appear either.

Example video of notification not appearing:

Hey wsp, look, I had a lot of categories, when I put some to not be updated this was solved, maybe that is the problem, the number of categories & entries
