macOS Monterey 12.7.6 (21H1320) @ MacBook Pro 2015.
External monitor, Displays have separate Spaces (=1 in Mission Control settings).
UPDATE:
When I select the Style = Named spaces, the indicators disappear. The characters in the name field don't matter. I can't see Spaceman running anywhere in the UI: not in the menu bar, not in Dock, not in Cmd+Tab menu, only in the Activity Monitor.
I tried to remove all the app's folders using AppCleaner, but surprisingly it didn't reset to default.
Now I'm going to delete the settings through the terminal, will see how it ends up.
Not important any more:
After the first run, I used two emoji symbols in the name of only one space, closed the Preferences. I didn't see my space renamed, and I can't open the Preferences any more.
