Thank you for the notification. There are several algorithms in this package relying on rgeos
and sadly I won't rewrite them with sf
.
Does this mean that lidRplugins can no longer be used? I'm not too familiar with how R works.
Well, old packages from CRAN are archived but can still be installed on the short term. Search to find how to do it. But in the long term, it is possible that the archived package will no longer be installable at all with increasing versions of R.
Hey,
Was trying to install lidRplugins
to try different tree detection algorithms.
Could not install the package and came across this post while looking how to solve the issue.
So the package, and algorithms, are not in use anymore?
lidRplugin
is not maintained and has never been. It exists. You can install it, but you must install rgeos
first.
Had to install a couple more further packages and it worked. Thank you.
