Space order gets jumbled

I've noticed that the spaces get out of order when I switch to an app using command+tab. The correct app and workspace receive focus, but the workspace is moved right after the current one (unless the app is on workspace one, it seems).

If I use the shortcuts to move the focus to a specific workspace, this does not happen.

Not sure if this is a known issue; I couldn't find it in the issues, but I assume it's a common way to switch apps, so if that's all it takes to cause it, I can't be the first one to notice :)

Here is my config.

I'm new to Mac btw, so I might just be using it wrong.

For example, I start out with this

(shown on my desktop using uebersicht and simple-bar

But when using command+tab to focus on alactritty, its workspace moves into the second position:

The same happens, btw, if I click its icon in the dock instead of using command+tab.

This is the first option to reorganize the spaces; it needs to be disabled as shown in the screenshot above.
