Chrome touch detection false positive #339

Point Chrome to an HTML5 version of the viewer, like
http://dante.hyperborea.com/flexpaper/index_html5.html or
http://devaldi.com/adaptiveui/Intl_Monetary_Fund.php?ro=html5,html

The touch interface is loaded instead of the standard one (for example, there
is no zoom slider, and the images come from the "touch" folder).

I'm using Chrome 23.0.1271.97 m on Windows 7 Pro

This does not happens on another PC with the same version of Chrome (both on
Windows 7 and Windows XP). The Modernizr touch test
(http://modernizr.github.com/Modernizr/touch.html) shows again a false
positive, and it seems that it could be a Chrome bug (see for example
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=152149)

we have not actually been able to reproduce this in any of the latest chrome
versions - possibly fixed in chrome 24?

Just updated to Chrome 24, but the issue is still there.

Are you still seeing this problem? Its quite strange because we don't get the
same behaviour in an of our Chrome installations
