Composer Issue with Smarty 3.1.17

Guys i get the following error whUpdating dependencies (including require-dev)  

  - Installing smarty/smarty (v3.1.17)
    Checking out /tags/v3.1.17/@4818

[RuntimeException]                                                              

  Package could not be downloaded, svn: E175002: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://smarty-php.googlecode.com/svn/tags/v3.1.17'  
  svn: E175002: The OPTIONS request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error at line 1: Extra content at the end of the document  
   (http://smarty-php.googlecode.com/svn/tags/v3.1.17) ile trying to install Vimbadmin , which uses smarty

Is is an issue with host ? 

coz , when i do the following  

dan@acer:/usr/local/vimbadmin$ ping http://smarty-php.googlecode.com
ping: unknown host http://smarty-php.googlecode.com

The fix is now in the SVN and will be later included in 3.1.18
