CallWaiting settings #396

We are going to use Telephone in our organization to answer call center calls. 
This service of our VoIP provider recognizes whenever a consultant is busy or 
not and searches for someone that is not currently busy. Unfortunately the 
Telephone application does not support Call Waiting setting for the SIP 
protocol, and the line is never busy, either someone is currently talking or 
not.

Would it be difficult to implement a settings option to enable or disable Call 
Waiting?

There is no app for Mac supporting these feature, so Telephone can be the first 
and only one!

Yes, I think that would be a useful feature, and it shouldn't be hard to 
implement it.

When do you estimate you would be able to implement this feature?
If it is not soon, maybe you could give me some hints and I would be able to do 
it myself?

My company really needs this as soon as possible.

There's an option in preferences to disable call waiting. Basically, it replies 
with 486 Busy Here when there any other active calls.
