Show dark red (0x50, 0x0, 0x0) on bad password (until next keypress, at least).

Show dark blue (0x0, 0x0, 0x40) on beginning to read keyboard input.

I'm dropping this, since the latest ubuntu update provides a screen lock when running ratpoison.
