Puzzle board, spells, and pause menu cannot be accessed after starting a new run. #25

I created this account specifically to submit this bug report lol. As soon as I start a new run, the game stays in a zoomed-out state and nothing can be interacted with. Additionally, you can see in the video I have provided that the menu buttons cannot be clicked on with the mouse, and the arrow and enter keys must be used.

For the mod to function properly, the BepInEx/Plugins directory must contain The Legend of Bum-bo_Windfall folder. The Legend of Bum-bo_Windfall folder must contain two files: The Legend of Bum-bo_Windfall.dll and windfall. Please ensure the mod directory is correct before launching the game. If the directory is correct and the issue is still happening, let me know. I plan to adjust the mod in the future such that it will work properly regardless of folder structure. I have also updated the installation instructions to be more clear. I apologize for the inconvenience and I appreciate your feedback.

I did as you said, and now it is working. Thank you!!! Weird how having the files in the wrong place still allows the game to function up to a certain point lol. The menu issue where the mouse cannot select any of the options is still a thing, but that is just a mild inconvenience and not as urgent.

Regarding the menu buttons issue, if you'd like you can comment with an attached game log file from when the bug occured so that I may potentially figure out why that bug is happening. The log files are located in 'C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\The Legend of Bum-bo (PLATFORM)\LOGS'.

Here is a log of me opening the game, clicking with my mouse (specifically a laptop trackpad) to get past the cutscenes, trying to click on the menu buttons, and then clicking on the X to close out of the game. hope this helps haha log_2024-01-31_225742.txt

I haven't been able to find out what is causing the bug, sorry. I will leave a comment if I find out how to fix it in the future.

I just want to confirm, is this only a problem when using Windfall? Do the menu buttons work when you are playing without the mod installed?

Ah, I'm so sorry, I should've specified. This is an issue in the base game too, I simply brought it up in the original bug post as like a "here is a major problem I am having, but during the video you can also see a more minor problem, so maybe that is something that can also be fixed in the future." Again, apologies lol
