We're updating Siedekick to 1.6.1 and got a huge amount of errors during our first testrun:

We were trying to pull the media library (several thousand items). System: Sitecore 9.3

did you update both the source and the destination servers with the 1.6.1?

No. Source is 1.5.4 and destination 1.6.1 Does both need to have the same version?

versions that share a major version number are compatible with each other. going from 1.5.4 to 1.6.1 would require both to be updated before operations worked reliably.

We finally managed to update to 1.7.0 and had no trouble regarding the reported error.
