The instructions documentation (the pdf file) is currently being updated but the updated script and README are functional and should be enough for people to test and use the script as needed. The SHMS HGC calibration script has been trimmed down and modifications have been made to how the script calculates the final value of the calibration constants that are printed to file. The format/naming of the output is also more user friendly.
Note that as part of the changes, the previous NGC flags have been removed. With relatively minor changes (branches/names switched) it would be fairly straightforward to make a new version of this script for the purposes of calibrating the NGC.
The previous version of the script is available in a sub folder (Legacy_Code) for comparison.
