Refactor random gauge #100

The random gauge class is refactored to have less dependencies. Also it solves a multiple-definition-issue with the GTest tests.

@bjoo we should probably process these pull-requests now since they clean up a lot of stuff. I'm happy to pull this in, but I don't want to step on your toes.

Hi @kostrzewa, GitHub claimed no conflict with 'devel' so I did the 'auto-merge'. Let us see hpw travis does... I'll have a look at the code later. I'll be looking at other things for today, so if you need to process more merges etc, please go ahead.
