I added an Optics3 target that is a single carbon foil in the center of the z region of the target ladder. I place it 70mm below Optics2 in y on the ladder. I ran a basic simulation with Optics3 and plotted part.vz, and it looks good. I also made a visualization and moved the target ladder to each position to check that the y positions are correct.
Specs for optics targets:
Optics1 -> z=-624.5mm , z=-5124.5mm (upstream target)
Optics2 -> z=+624.5mm, z=-3875.5mm (downstream target)
Optics3 -> z=+0.127mm, z=-4499.873mm (middle target)
all have dimensions (x,y,z)=(25mm,25mm,0.254mm)
Also, I updated the sieve geometry to be up-to-date with what MIT engineering has and added in the blocker geometry (with macros to insert the blocker).
