Since your site is not part of an Apps For Your Domain account, you should
leave the domain field empty.

Thanks for this. The guide actually explains this, but not well enough... Got
it working after reading this post

yes; that worked thanks. Secret is to leave the domain field blank. My
googles site is quite large so it took about 5 minutes. But if I did with
revisions I think it would have taken about 4 hours. I gave up on it after 10
minutes when it had only exported about 1%. No point in keeping the revisions
anyways.

Hello guys, thx for the post... I'm still receiving "No data returned. You may
have provided invalid Site information or credentials" and I'm sure I filled in
all as described here. And also I'm 100% sure about my account (name@gmail.com
and password).
Any other suggestion? Thx indeed

Hi. I am a similar problem as well. I always receive "No data returned. You
may have provided invalid Site information or credentials".
Let me give an example. If my web is https://sites.google.com/site/test/
In the application, I leave
Host: sites.google.com/
Domain:
Webspace: test
with my account and password. Are my steps correct?

Your steps are all correct (I do not put a forward slash after the host site)
and I had the same problem and solved it by using :
google-sites-liberation-1.0.4.jar from
http://code.google.com/p/google-sites-liberation/downloads/list
instead of instead of Data Liberation version 1.0.3
