Describe the bug

The gutter width should be dynamically updating as the text was becoming larger

To Reproduce

Just write some long text

Expected behavior

A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

This was an issue with Firefly. It was not correctly initializing some variables used to detect the gutter width. See Firefly Commit
