Plugins options menu causes application hang #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch exodus
2. Attempt to open plugins option menu
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Details of plugins?  Unsure.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows Xp running Exodus 0.10.0.0.

To what server (if public like jabber.org) are you connecting?
internal company server.  Openfire I think.

What plugins, if any, are enabled?
Unsure as I can't get into the menu.  I suspect aspell plugin may be installed

Please provide any additional information below.
Same if go to plugins option in preferences menu.

I also have this problem - any DLLs other than the Logger plugin causes Exodus 
to
hang and eventually exit when trying to access the plugins options screen.

Same issue & setup. Finally got it to show menu with only ASPELL DLL installed. 
But
can't seem to get ASPELL to work.

same thing happening here  just trying to access the plugin icon causes 
application 
to fail  heres some logs to try and help you solve it

I had same problem. I removed everything from C:\Program Files\Exodus\plugins 
except
for branding.xml and ExHTMLLogger.dll and got the logger to work which was what 
I wanted.

Same problem here.  I removed just the "ExRosterTools.dll" from the 
\Exodus\plugins
folder and now it works so it looks like something in the roster tools dll is 
the
culprit.

May be related... When I choose from the Contact window, Plug-ins >> Options, 
my 
Exodus 0.10.0.0. (Win XP SP2, private/internal company server) does not hang.  
Instead it generates the following two error messages repeatedly, seven or 
eight 
times--I click OK on each dialog--then it displays the Exodus "Options" window 
with 
the Plug-ins tab displayed. I close it and it returns focus to contact list and 
operates normally. I have the ExHTMLogger installed (upgraded from 0.9.x) but 
not 
enabled (no check mark.) I do not have any other plug-ins downloaded or 
installed.

I was able to remedy this problem by not installing any plugins other than the 
HTML 
Logger.  Of course, that works for me as I don't care about the others...  :)

Same problem, the workaround of deleting "ExRosterTools.dll" from the 
\Exodus\plugins
folder worked, now the plugin settings come up.

I only installed RosterTools, Logger, and JabberStats at initial install.

removing all but aspell and history worked for me.  Removing just 
ExRosterTools.dll
did nothing.  I'm on vista, 32bit ultimate.  I'm happy to test or look for 
anything
or to help track this down.
