The updates should be backwards compatible. This could be a bug. I think in my documents or in app data a json file is stored with the button data. Soon, I will have a look at the code.
Met vriendelijke groeten,
Jenno

Not entirely sure if its an issue, it is more like a convenience feature request. It would be nice to be able to save a button/sound sample layout/preset in some form, so we could copy the already made soundboard to a latest version, if it is compatible (for example no new major features are added that would alter the soundboard in a significant way). Right now after every update the buttons and consequently the sound samples are removed. (I apologize if it is user error and this can be done in some way, I could not figure it out)

I will look into it a bit more then and see if its on my end, but so far every new version that I launch I have to make a brand new preset. (Note: I make a new folder for every version, so I can keep track of what works, so maybe thats the problem?)
I see in the source code that saving the settings is not persistent accross different versions.
I didn't think I would create a lot of versions of this software. I'll program that the software will store the settings file in a certain folder.
You will hear from me soon.
Kind regards, Jenno

Glad to hear that it wasn't just me! I thought it would be useful to know! Thank you so much for your hard work and brilliant software, I am not very competent in programing, so I can't do anything on that front, but I hope that at least these small bits of information and testing will help!
