Problem with multiplayer - host has tooltip, joiner does not #5

Hello! I've been enjoying using this mod for a long time now; I honestly feel like Valheim is missing so much information without it. It's at the top of my list for "essential mods." Thank you for making it!

Issue I'm having: When my partner and I play, if either of us hosts a game, the person joining doesn't have the tooltip feature working. When we host, we have the tooltip working. When we join the other's game, it doesn't.

I feel like I've read your readme countless times, and I'm tech savvy, but I can't seem to figure out why this isn't working. I've uninstalled the mod and deleted the config files on both of our computers, closed the clients, then re-installed fresh. Still doesn't work. We have the identical mods and game version.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I think you need cheat access.

For example as an admin with Server Devcommands mod.

Huh, even when it's not a paid server, just using the in-game server create/join? Have you had the same/similar experience?

Are you saying that when you join someone's server you should be able to cheat there without any restrictions?

Oh, huh. Does the game consider this mod a cheat?

@SicyoGit, only admins will be able to see the information that ESP provides, for both dedicated servers and locally started servers. The only way to do this is for you and your partner to add each other's Steam ID to your own adminlist.txt file. See this link for more info: https://gamertweak.com/valheim-add-server-admin/
