Day 1 thumbnails could look better #5

Need to find a way to better scale the screenshot of the project to fit the thumbnail. Current method is using the Snipping tool and trying to get a square snip and the re-sizing it to the thumbnail size of 175px X 175px. Which results in some funking looking thumbnails.

Hey Jeremiahsvaren,

Using Adobe Creative Suites tools is probably the best tool, but it can be expensive. I would recommend using SnagIt created by Tech Smith. It's only $50, but has a host of tools to work with images. I first learned of this product at my last company about eight years ago. I liked it so much at work, I bought my own personal copy.

Keep up the great work on your 30-Day Challenge

Best regards,

Michael Allen

I'm wanting to have the image load a dynamic image of a screenshot of the current webpage and this stackover flow post might lead me in the right direction. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/757675/website-screenshots-using-php

Cool! Anytime you can get a computer to create an image on the fly and convert it to a thumbnail that makes the photo editing part totally unnecessary. It would be interesting if there was a method within the code that detected and excluded white space around the edge thus making the some of images more visible.

Keep up the great work.
