Wii internal savegames don't appear #146

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open Savengame Manager R115
2.Select the small Wii Symbol in the Top Banner
3.Only 5 savegames appear with 0 block size

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have 55 savegames on my wii, but only 5 appears (with a block size of 0). So
I cannot extract any savegame on a external device (SD, HDD)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R115

Yeah, you loaded the apps from a homebrew loader other than the Homebrew
Channel itself. I have already submitted an issue just like that.

No, I used the Homebrew Channel.
So this issue also occurs in the Homebrew Channel.
I changed to an older revision (R90) which is working fine.

i'm sure you need to done a fresh install of the app (HBC_setup pack in
download section).
then, please, report if that fix your problem.

I've never had this issue when I loaded from the Homebrew Channel Directly but
when I load for USB GX or Wii Explorer, one thing that Savegame GX does is that
it doesn't even try to load my cIOS.

Also, hey dj_sk, do you also develop USB Loader GX? I mentioned the idea of a
spin-dock for the options in place of the tool bar on top.

All saves now appear with Usb Loader GX's fix but Wii Explorer is next in line
because the newest revision hasn't been release yet.

So it's linked to the AHBPROT patch, wich are not present in other app to keep
this flag activated while an ios_reload
so, please, report to developer of those applications.

Mind if I ask what the purpose of AHBPROT is actually?
