Why not sorting games by popularity? ...first games played often...

This can be accomplished by adding sort=0..4 to wiiflow.ini, where the number 
is the following:

0 = Alpha
1 = Playcount
2 = Lastplayed (in time)
3 = Game ID

The interface will be changed soon for this feature, but you can already use 
this. However, you'll need to grab a beta version from IRC for this. Wiiflow 
2.0 doesn't support this yet.
