Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Crystal Bearers; Name cannot be changed #239

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install FFCC: Crystal Beares (RFCPGD)
2.Update Names/Title List
3.Name doesn't change (FFCC: CRYSTAL BEARERS)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
FFCC: CRYSTAL BEARERS shall be changed in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The
Crystal Bearers

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1a rev92

Please provide any additional information below.
I checked every File. And everything seems to be correct.
It's the only Game which hasn't the correct name.
The Title in the title.ini fits to the Game ID (RFCPGD).
The settings in wiiflow.ini are also correct.

Thats because Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is too long
for wiiflow to display I believe. Ill look at it another time since i have this
game

The strange thing is, that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
will be displayed without any issue.
I cannot say it for sure, but I think in the last Revisions the name (Final
Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers) was displayed correctly.

Might be unrelated, but I noticed that in a theme other than default, it seems
I could use longer names (some themes show more chracters?) (in the case of the
Violet theme, I can see : Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 4: The Trial and
Execution of Guybrush Threepwood) however, when I attempt to go back to the
default theme, I get a crash dump + 5 second restart to another dump... I have
to manually edit the ini go to another theme (besides default) or else it will
crash on startup every time.
So I'm curious if there's a hard coded max char limit in the default theme
that's not in the other themes that would cause this?

check ur files in the wbfs folder for the game. there may be a txt file there
setting the name of the games. Alas it works perfect for me so if it doesnt
work right for you use wii backup manager and put the game on your drive again.
