JeremyF5737 / Elder_Scrolls_Morrowind_Books

This is the Scrolling through scrolls project for the DIGIT400 class. This project deals with the analysis of the book items through three elder scrolls games (Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim). The goal of this project is to analyze the changes throughout the 3 games to the repeating books series such as (A Dance in Fire Chapters 1-7), where they are located, and if they give anything useful to the player. Another useful feature that this project would cover is a simplified lore/explanation of each book incase people do not understand the meaning or complicated words behind the writing.

The team is making good progress so far. I've been reviewing the schema and noted a couple of syntax errors: I left you line comments about those on this commit: https://github.com/JeremyF5737/Elder_Scrolls/commit/00ce3c4e77fa12d37124aecf0dbcb66d270604bf

I like that @Joelpie 's schema is picking out some clear ideas of interest for researching the Skyrim books--apparently to investigate their attention to objects in the game, right? This is a good moment, now that you have a schema under construction, to think carefully about what you want to be exploring with the markup, and refine the research question.

It looks like the team is planning to review this schema and modify it anyway--that's a good idea! I am glad that @Tricky-Keys has been identifying duplicate books. How many books will you all need to be marking now? Have you identified the ones that you really need for the project?

Thanks to @JeremyF5737 's good project management, we had a nice sample from your project to feature in the regex instruction this week! Keep up the good work, team. I look forward to seeing modifications on the schema, a serious start on the XML markup, and a splash page on the website.
