I think the plugin could use slightly more documentation. I'm thinking of:

Update readme with new location of YAML file with parameters.
A simple usage example.
Short summary of the plugin interface, intended use, ...
Maybe some notes on the installation of the develop branch if we go for the git submodule approach.
(Expected performance?)
