Additional buttons ( "Strong", "Econo", "Streamer" do not have a label when opening the tile) #20

All is working fine, and the tiles are showing in homekit

When going to a specific tile, temperature can be set However "Drying" cannot be selected

then when using the advanced features the additional buttons become available, but they are lacking a visible layer to quickly select "Power""Econo" or "Streamer". the function itself is working

However "Drying" cannot be selected

This is a limitation of HomeKit, "drying" is not a TargetHeaterCoolerState option: https://developers.homebridge.io/#/characteristic/TargetHeaterCoolerState You can set the device to drying via the Daikin app, in HomeKit it will then show as "Auto".

This seems like a bug, I will check it out.

This bug is caused by Apple in iOS 16, see https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/issues/3210

We should send this feedback to Apple, as this user explains: https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/issues/3210#issuecomment-1226037918

This user explains how you can rename the switches yourself without having to find out what switch is used for what feature: https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/issues/3210#issuecomment-1217735865

I will close this for now. If this is fixed upstream everything should work again as expected.

@benb1969 this problem is now fixed by using the suggested ConfiguredName characteristic. A restart of homebridge and the Home app is probably required.
